As we celebrate our 26th birthday, we reflect on just how far we have come as a business and what’s in store for the future of Yours Clothing. From our founders story to the growth of Yours and the fun things we’ve done on the way, you can read it all here. Remember; none of it would be possible without you, our customer!
How Did Yours Clothing Start?
Founded by Andrew Killingsworth 26 years ago, Andrew worked on a local stall buying and selling women’s clothing. After buying a collection of plus size womenswear that happened to fly off the shelves, Andrew quickly recognised the demand for plus size clothing, and set up the plus size retailer we all know and love: Yours Clothing.
How Have We Grown?
More Stores & Expanded Head Office
Here at Yours, we are continuing to grow each day. From humble beginnings on Andrew’s market stall to becoming one of the fastest growing international plus size retailers, we have opened 166 stores throughout the UK, Ireland and Germany, with more set to open in 2020. In early 2019, we relocated our head office and warehouse to accommodate for our growth and expansion. We also built two new studios that can hold up to three model shoots, as well as all the still life and mannequin shots that are required on a day to day basis.
Bigger Clothing Sizes & Ranges Available
Not only have we expanded our head office location and opened more stores, but we have increased the availability of our plus size women’s clothing sizes too. Historically, our products would stop at a size 36, but we are now introducing size 40 to more of our styles. And sizing isn’t the only thing changing around here – we are broadening our Limited Collection brand for the ladies who like to break the boundaries.

Dedicated to creating plus size clothing that not only fits but flatters too, we have a specialist team of buyers and garment fit technologists that are experienced in ensuring every item we sell is of the best quality, ethically sourced and of course, designed specifically for the plus size body shape. Whether it’s t-shirts with a dipped hem or a longline top for that little extra coverage, everything has been designed with your curves in mind.
We Listen
As a company, we listen to what you say and we react to it. You’ve asked for sustainable clothing, so in the coming months we are launching a sustainable clothing collection consisting of some of your favourite styles made from organic cotton. Make sure to keep an eye out!
We Embrace YOU
We know who our customers are and that we wouldn’t be where we are without them, which is why for the past five years we have held our annual ‘Face of Yours’ competition. This allows you, our customer to apply to be the face of Yours Clothing for an entire year, getting involved in shoots and regular campaigns.

What Does The Future Hold For Us?
Ever-growing, we are set to open even more stores this year. Our head office and warehouse is growing rapidly and we are going to be buying more of what you love, offering more money-saving deals and continuing to be the brand you can rely on.
Not forgetting BadRhino, we will continue to grow our menswear brand and welcome more brands and new in styles in sizes ranging from L to 8XL.
